Fact Curious:
Various V5 5000 AGP4x owners have said that this card is not operative under AGP4x. They have tried the card but it doesn't work. Is curious to see as this card with notch like AGP4x, doesn't work!
Hank Semenec said (3dfxzone.it) that all voodoo cards with notch like AGP4x will work on Motherboard with SLOT AGP4x, for example INTEL CHIP !865 or !875. So, I don't know what to think!
Also is curious the 'Legend Urban' about V4 4500 EvilKing4, everybody say that this card doesn't work under AGP4x. Well, I have this card and I have utilized this card on PIV2.4B GHz & ABIT IS7-G (ChipSet !865 with support AGP4x/8X), and my V4 works smoothly!

This ITEM has been cancelled for the seller, he found on the card a memory break (2 pins).

I must agree with Hank. From owner a prototype of V5 5500 AGP4x I know that this card work on AGP4x/8x boards.

Exactly, the V5 5500 AGP4x works perfectly under AGP4x/8x. I know this because my friend Raziel64 from ARGENTINA has one. Sloomy tried his V5 5500 AGP4x under ChipSet Intel !845, and also worked!I must agree with Hank. From owner a prototype of V5 5500 AGP4x I know that this card work on AGP4x/8x boards.
For that I say that is very rare that V5 5000 AGP4x doesn't work under AGP4x.

Well, a lot people have tried to do this MOD, (among them Mr. Semenec), but with result negative.
About to implement MEM, there is a Guy from ISRAEL, called DeniF. He has a V4 4500 MOD, that card comes 64Mb SDRAM!
Anyway, is more easy to implement MEM on V4 (back memory free), than not on V5 5500; Where it is needed to replace the existing memory for other MEM with ns more low!RE

So, I have somewhere MOD from Hank to rise amount of RAM on V5 from 64MB to 128MB. Don't forget that he was engineer from 3dfx and he still have PCB schemes for lot of 3dfx cards. And just switch memory modules cannot be problem, but you have to know how to desolve and solve them. But if you have a tools for that it cannot be a problem.

Yes I know, that was engineer from 3Dfx and now he is working for Quantum3D. Months ago, Hank did a mod a v6k. He replaced the memory of his v6k (6ns), for memory of 5'4ns!!! He is the KING!

My picture is only howto you can change that types of memory and rise amount of RAM from 64MB to 128MB. There are shown new trays that you must build on your V55k. Maybe I should post it. I will look at my storage 
As far as I know nobody did this MOD. But I expect higher performace with games that utilizes large amount of high resolution textures like UT2k3/UT2k4.
I agree with you: Hank is man who really knows what he is doing and he has very good knowledge of 3dfx technologies and not just about them.
