Hi visitor, I have created a 183MHz BIOS for v4 and I'm looking for testers.
Its based on v1.15 and it changes the dram latency from 2-2-2-6 to 2-2-3-6.

Some people try to modify a V4 4500 32 mb into 64 mb (an old dream now) ; i have No idea if they can or will succeed but the current bios will be perhaps a "botleneck".
What do you think about that ?
..you mean that voodoo4 4500agp 64mb that was created by DenisF? I think he created his own bios (so the card was able to "see" the additional memory),are you suggesting HoNY should mod that bios as well?

I thought indeed about this V4 4500 but also a topic on VoodooAlert.de.
According that, you would need a (new) resistor on the pcb in order that the board utilizes the new ram.
But probably you would need then to modify the bios.

i wanted ram for this mod (5 or 5,5ns SDRAM) is better for agresive latency my dream is V4 4500 64MB @183 2-2-2-6
If you're doing rotated grid SSAA (call it sparse grid if you wish but most often your samples will be in the "rotated" position) : then this AA is better than sex. ---Blazkowicz
I.C. píše:What is the reading on the backside of the card where the GPU pad is located? And what are you using to test?
I have used digital probes from Radio Shack but have just started using infrared meter.
My hand is qualyty tempeature-metr on backside where is GPU
I using FAN on cooper heatsinks therefore is too small tempeature
